Quilt Shop was founded in 2001 after Lois retired from social work. In April of 2007, Lois realized her dream of opening a full service quilt shop offering not only finished quilts but also knitted items, fabrics, quilt finishing services and quilting classes. Contact us to learn more.

About Our Owner
Owner, Lois Banning, has been sewing and knitting since early childhood. She comes from a family of artists. Her mother painted in oils and she learned her crafts from her beloved grandmother who said, "If you can't do needlework, you'll never get a husband!"

When Lois isn't working in the shop, she's with her husband (Gary), children (Helene, Erica Andy and Paul), grandchildren (Josh, Jessica, Anthony, Becca, Bella, Cole, Landon and Garrett) and animals. Aside from artistic creations, she loves riding her quarter horses, cart driving her miniature horses, playing with her miniature Black Angus bull, or wrestling with the potbelly pigs. There are too many other animals to mention here.
